No One Is Forsaken
As consecrated religious, we consider it our privilege to pray for all — especially your most personal and pressing intentions. Whatever you are carrying, you need not carry it alone. Submit your request below and we will bring it to the altar.
How we pray for your intentions
Every prayer request submitted to the Franciscan Friars of the Forsaken is carried to the altar at our next celebration of the Divine Office. Our brothers pray the Office five times each day — Matins, Terce, Sext, None, and Vespers — and your intention is held before God at each of those Hours.
We do not sort requests by size or urgency. We do not distinguish between the dramatic and the ordinary. A failing marriage and a lost job and a child’s illness and a quiet, unnamed grief — all of it belongs to God, and all of it belongs on our altar. Nothing is too small. No one is too forgotten.
“In addition, we are humbly grateful for your spiritual support, which we depend on to maintain our Franciscan way of life and ministry to the poor.”
— The Community
Prayed at every Office
Your intention is brought to the altar at each of our five daily Hours. We pray collectively for all submitted requests — by name and by need — as part of our intercessory ministry.
Held in confidence
What you share with us stays with us. Your request is received with the same reverence we bring to the altar. We are brothers, not administrators.
For anyone
You do not need to be Orthodox, Franciscan, or even Christian to ask for our prayers. We pray for all who come to us — the faithful and the searching, the churchgoing and the far from home.
No solicitation
This page is for prayer requests only. For all other communication, please use our friary email. We ask that this space be kept sacred — reserved solely for those who need prayer.
Tell us who and what to pray for
Please include the first name of the person or pet you are requesting prayer for, and a brief description of the intention. You do not need to share more than you are comfortable sharing.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:16
Want to support the friars?
Our brothers work secular jobs to sustain the friary and keep this ministry free for all. If our prayers have meant something to you, consider giving — every gift goes directly to the work.
